What is The Audition?

The Audition is a live, on-stage experience where dancers perform in front of industry professionals, receive real-time feedback, and compete for exclusive opportunities including scholarships, training invitations, and performance slots.

This is where talent meets opportunity — a chance to be seen, heard, and recognised by leaders in the dance industry.

How It Works

Eligibility

Audition entry is included with the Gold and Silver packages. To be considered for The Audition, dancers must have attended at least 3 workshop classes during the event.

When It Runs

Live Auditions are scheduled on Finals Day in the Main Theatre (Junior and Senior divisions), ahead of Gala Night.

On The Day

  • Dancers perform live on stage in front of the panel.
  • Real-time feedback is given by industry professionals.
  • Outcomes are announced alongside the weekend's awards.
